The printed versions of these map atlases, which have been available at stores throughout Midcoast Maine since 2004, have sold out! Because of continuing demand and many requests, Timestream has agreed to offer downloadable versions of the four map atlases in Portable Document Format (PDF) at significant cost savings.
Once sold for $22.95 as a bound book in stores, the PDF version costs only $14.95 for each complete, print-ready atlas. When purchased and downloaded, users can print just the town or towns they need, or enlarged snapshots of street corners and detailed areas, or they can print the entire book on their own printer at home or office. Commonly-available free software such as Adobe's Acrobat Reader will read the PDF atlas and print part or all of it for you.
The atlas map files contain 300 dpi (dots per inch - high-resolution) images of each page of the map atlas. They are not only suitable for printing as full-color pages, they can be zoomed in and examined with clarity on a computer monitor.
When you purchase your map atlas, you will immediately be sent an e-mail containing the link to the download site. The files are large, so a high-speed connection is recommended.
After your purchase, the file at the download site will be available to you for 30 days, and you will be able to download the file three times before your purchase expires. The PDF file will never expire!
